Jonathan Davies grew up in Bedford, Nova Scotia. He attended Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in marketing and management. After university, Jonathan co-owned and operated his own landscape company for 7 years where he gained valuable knowledge in all aspects of running his own business. 

In 2008, Jonathan started working at IG Wealth Management. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® designation in 2014, and his Registered Retirement Consultant designation in 2015. In 2019, he earned his Chartered Life Underwriters designation. Since he started at IG, Jonathan has won a number of awards, including the Pillar Award in years 2 and 4 for exceptional productivity and growth as a new consultant. Jonathan has built a strong team and they manage over $100M in assets as of 2023. 

Jonathan loves helping and meeting engaged professionals, pre-retirees, and business owners, and applying all of his financial planning expertise to build long-term relationships and see clients achieve their goals. 

Jonathan has two children, Hank and Hadley. In his spare time he loves to play golf and hockey, be creative, travel and explore the outdoors.
